Maham commenced her tenure at HMCL in February 2024, following the completion of her LLM in International Corporate and Commercial Law from London. She previously obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of London, where she graduated with Upper Second Class Honours and was recognized with the Academic Roll of Honour and the International Achievement Award for her outstanding academic performance as the highest-scoring candidate in her cohort.

Prior to her current position, Maham served as legal counsel at an international construction firm, where she adeptly navigated complex legal frameworks and provided strategic legal counsel.

Her expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters, including corporate advisory, contract drafting and review, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. She possesses proficiency in drafting and reviewing various legal documents, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Consultancy Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements (JVs), Company Incorporation documents, Arbitration Suits, Lease and Tenancy Agreements, Civil Suits, Recovery Suits, and Intellectual Property Suits.

Maham represents clients before the Anti-Dumping Appellate Tribunal in relation to anti-dumping investigations on behalf of the domestic industry of Pakistan. Additionally, she is engaged as counsel in commercial arbitration proceedings before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and provides advisory and legal services on a case involving Beretta Italy.

Furthermore, Maham has experience in handling anti-dumping applications and addressing issues related to property rights for women before the Federal Ombudsman (FOSPAH). She is committed to achieving favorable outcomes for her clients, whether through negotiating critical contracts, providing regulatory advice, or litigating high-stakes commercial disputes. Her dedication to continuous professional development ensures she remains well-informed of the latest legal trends and practices, thereby enhancing her capacity to deliver effective representation.
